Gift a Map

A gift they will return to.

For the engaged couple who has everything. For the friends who just got serious. For your parents’ fortieth anniversary. Most gifts are about the occasion; this one is about the two of them. The Relational Map is a single, well-prepared conversation for two people, and a gift code lets you give it without knowing anything about how they will use it.

How a gift works

  1. 1

    You choose it

The Map, or the Map with a 45-minute Director conversation. Add a note if you like. We send you the card by email within one business day.

  2. 2

    They receive a card

Forward it, print it or hand it over in person. Twelve months to use it, and no date they must plan around.

  3. 3

They answer in their own time

Each partner reflects privately, whenever suits them. Their Folios follow within three business days of the second Reflection, and their Map within two business days of both being confirmed. You receive a note that the gift was redeemed, and nothing else.

Nothing about the couple is entered by you, and nothing about their Map is ever shown to you. A gift can be a surprise; the Map cannot, because each partner consents for themselves.

For the wedding

The gift that outlasts the registry.

Plates get replaced. A conversation about what two people are actually promising each other does not.

Many couples receive the Map before the wedding and return to it a year later. It fits on a registry alongside the things that will wear out.

A few good questions

Does the code expire?

Twelve months from purchase.

Can I give it to a couple I work with?

Yes, but the Map for teams is a different thing. For colleagues, see For teams.

Can I give a Terroir Trails day instead?

Yes. A self-guided day in wine country or an opening Director session can be gifted through Terroir Trails.
