For teams and leadership

Before the agenda, read the room.

For leadership teams navigating a pivotal decision, a strategic pivot, a new leader, or two co-founders who need to want the same company. The Third Field shows you the gap between what the team says in the room and what each person believes alone, and turns what surfaces into commitments people can actually carry.

The problem

Before strategy hardens around what no one has named.

Sometimes what matters is already present. What is missing is the room to say it.

A question held back. A responsibility carried unevenly. A difference mistaken for agreement. An ordinary offsite fills the agenda, brings in a generic facilitator, and sends everyone home with a slide deck and no commitments. We begin with what each person privately believes, and end with what the team has actually agreed, in writing.

Three formats, in any setting

Alignment
When you need a clear, shared direction. Move past surface consensus to where you actually align, where differences sit, and who owns what. You leave with the Alignment Charter: a concise written record of decisions and commitments.
Team Reset
When how you work together needs attention. Surface unspoken friction in a constructive, neutral container; clarify what each leader needs to operate at their best; agree on tangible Working Agreements to practice over the coming quarter.
Generative
When entering uncharted territory. Hear what each person sees on the horizon and align on a single, well-defined experiment with direct ownership, recorded in the Experiment Brief.

Your Experience Director

Director-led gatherings are facilitated by an experienced practitioner from The Third Field.

Before you gather
Each person shares brief, private reflections. Your Director reads the room before anyone arrives.
On the day
Your Director guides the conversation naturally, opening space for unhurried, honest dialogue without it feeling staged or clinical.
Afterward
You receive the Relational Map and the written record the format produces.

Clear boundaries

Not a performance assessment.

Private reflections are never a tool for employee surveillance; an employer or organizer cannot consent for others; we do not arrange an ambush or facilitate a predetermined verdict. A workshop is not a substitute for legal, HR, clinical, crisis or formal mediation support, and we will say so if that is what a team needs.
