Sikizana · How it works

Complex questions.
A clear path into action.

See how a wider range of perspectives becomes focused decisions and accepted work.

Start with the people who hold the information. Narrow the questions that need attention. Carry the resulting choice into work people have actually taken on.

Four stages. A reason for the order.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Set the context. Form your own first view before seeing colleagues’ positions. Release contributions and check the shared reading.

    Why first

Give distinct knowledge a chance to enter before a direction takes hold.

    Independent thinking
  2. 02

    Proposals

Develop alternatives. Use brainstorming, commitment rounds or a focused meeting to examine and refine the choices.

    Why before choosing

Make room for alternatives and reservations before narrowing the choice.

    Exploration & AI timing
  3. 03

    Decide

The authorized person records the choice, reasons and conditions. Questions that are not ready stay open.

    Why make it explicit

Supporting a proposal, deciding and accepting work are different acts.

    The design rationale
  4. 04

    Follow through

Owners accept defined work. Confirm prerequisites, report progress and review completion and recorded changes.

    Why the record continues

Turn intention into specific action, with evidence of progress and a reason to revisit what changes.

    Action & progress

Research informs the design. The Science page separates established findings, design choices and what we still need to test.

The question has a continuing life

One goal can open
several paths.

A meeting is one moment in the life of a decision.

Some questions are ready for action. Others need evidence, another proposal or a conversation. Each keeps its own record and advances when it is ready.

One goal. Several questions. Each advances when it is ready.
Prepare

A shared goal. Independent perspectives.

Release contributions, check the shared reading, then develop proposals.

Proposals · develop and examine each question

Question 01

What can begin now?

A proposal is chosen by the authorized person.

Decision recordedDefined work acceptedExecution begins when prerequisites are met.
Question 02

What should we test?

A bounded investigation receives its own decision.

Decision recordedDefined work acceptedEvidence informs the next choice.
Question 03

What is not ready?

Missing evidence or authority keeps this choice open.

Remains openOther work can advance without implying this question is settled.

A meeting is one tool within Proposals. A recorded change brings the affected question or commitment back for review.

Choose a fictional situation below and follow it into action. Technical, quality and purchasing approvals remain with the appropriate people. Compare this with asking AI for a plan

Choose a situation to explore

Rail equipment · replacement supplier · delivery deadline

Keep delivery moving.
Keep release a separate decision.

What can proceed while a replacement supplier is qualified—and what must wait for authorized release?

At stake: safe release, customer delivery and the cost of disruption.

Fictional situations and people. These illustrate the workflow, not customer results or a live workspace.

A decision to investigate is not approval to release a part, launch a service or buy an instrument. Each question advances on its own evidence and authority.

What stays with the work

From the first question
to the final check.

An approved decision is not yet an accepted commitment. An accepted commitment is not yet completed work.

Keep all three visible, with the context that connects them.

01 · The decision

What was chosen.
And why.

The choice, its reasons, reservations and conditions remain in the record.

02 · The commitment

Who accepted what.
On which terms.

The owner accepts defined scope, with the prerequisites the work depends on.

03 · The review

What happened.
What needs another look.

Progress, completion evidence and recorded changes keep the next judgment grounded.

Use only what the question needs

A clear process.
Room for judgment.

Go deeper into the evidence or explore what the historical cases reveal.

Does every question need a meeting?

No. Prepare and examine proposals in writing. Meet when a remaining question benefits from conversation, bringing in the people needed to resolve it.

Do we have to use every tool?

No. Use brainstorming when you need more possibilities, a commitment round to surface positions and conditions, or a meeting to work through an open point. Other questions can advance while one remains unresolved.

What if we turn AI off?

The human workflow and saved records remain available. Workspace organizers can turn off new AI assistance, and reflection assistance is optional for each person. People still decide, accept work and review completion.
