The Third Field · Books
Our relationships do not stay in one place. What happens at work can follow us home; what happens at home can shape how we work. These three books each stay with one relationship, while making room for the life around it.
Each book stands alone. A plain notebook is enough for the Couples Workbook.

Forthcoming · Paul Mola
A workbook for changing seasons of shared life. Notice what nourishes your relationship, what has become hard to carry, and one small practice you might choose together.
A dedication
For those whose life together was governed by what neither could see.
Who tried harder and, when that failed, blamed themselves. Who lived by arrangements neither remembered making. Who carried a list the other never saw. Who lay awake beside someone they loved, across a distance neither could name.
May a hard season never be mistaken for a lack of love. It was not all theirs to carry. Some of it was the ground shifting beneath the house, and no one had shown them where to look.
For those who came before us, who lived all of this without a word for it.
And for any two people willing to turn, together, and look at what lives between them.
Forthcoming · Paul Mola
A workbook for founding partners making a company together. Bring purpose, contributions, risk, decisions, money, ownership and the possibility of leaving into the same conversation.
A dedication
For the founders who began, knowing the odds.
Who signed their names to something that did not yet exist. Who gave it years, savings and sleep, carried its weight home at night, and rose to it again each morning.
For those among them whose ventures could not continue, and who turned off the lights on work they loved.
May an ending never be mistaken for the measure of a person. The courage was in the beginning. No ending can reach it.
And for those who stood beside them: who believed before there was proof, stayed through the difficult days, and asked after the person before they asked after the company.

A workbook for leadership teams of four to ten. Clarify decision rights, workload and ways of working in a shared charter you can return to each quarter.
A dedication
For those who have sat at the table with something true and nowhere to put it.
Who saw it coming and weighed the cost of saying so. Who wrote the sentence and deleted it. Who spoke once, heard the meeting move on, and learned to wait.
May silence never be mistaken for agreement, or quiet for having nothing to say. What they knew was already there. It needed only a place.
For the leaders who wanted to ask, and feared how the asking would look.
And for those who make the room: who notice the one who has not spoken, who ask and then stay quiet long enough to be answered, and who can hear a doubt without hearing a threat.
Different ways to work
Each book can be used on its own. Guided Couples, co-founder and team experiences include the relevant workbook: your questionnaire helps the Director choose the session focus, selected exercises support your time together, and other areas remain available to explore afterward.
The books await release; workbook edition and delivery are confirmed before booking. Standalone Couples and Team Maps remain available through the questionnaire, with no book purchase required.
A Circle of Friends workbook is in development. A Council of Honor creates a personalized artifact of memories and appreciation, rather than a workbook.
